Yeah, I noted that a while back, they had some young hitters with compact swings and alley power they were trying to turn into power hitters. Kingery is a good example. It makes sense for certain players like Hall and Schwarber, but it also requires a very good batting eye, because the lower BA needs a high walk rate to maintain overall value. But for guys like Kingery, Stott, Bohm, Maton, etc., you want high velocity contact, some HRs, lots of line drives into the gaps, high BA.
This is where analytics can be abused, not understand why you get good results makes it hard to duplicate those results - the three outcome approach only works for certain hitters, if you have a Rojas or Crawford, getting them on base (high OBP) has more value than a high SA.
