I was wondering if they should have moved Schrenk up with Wathan but Lundquist seemed to do a good job at LHV last year.

Is there a Phillies affiliate that Legg hasn't managed? Seems like he's been everywhere at one time or another.

It seems possible that Legg might finish his career with a nice long stretch at AAA, after Wathan joins the big club (in whatever capacity) with his longtime players.

The Phillies have formally assigned Nava and Burnett to the AAA roster, per the International League transactions page. Doesn't mean much - they're by definition on a minor-league roster as "non-roster invitees," but for the record...

Got a chance to scan this section - I like the fact that you have a devoted crew to the minor leagues, and thanks for all of the roster research.

Can I assume that a few of you get to a decent number of minor league games here and there? I get to about 10-12 per season...mostly Reading and LHV...maybe once to Lakewood if it fits in and there is someone that I really want to see. And this year Lakewood should be pretty stacked.

You'll find that we have daily threads on the minor leagues in-season, with (varying) discussion of the games. We get pretty intense about the draft in June.

My brother and I usually get to about 18 games a season, between Reading and Allentown. We've made the very, very occasional visit to Lakewood.
