I was amazed to hear that in Cards history they were 93-0 when leading by 2 runs going into the 9th.

If we had gotten the "A" team calling our game instead of doing the Mets series you would have had the announcer adding the homer into the regular season total.

2 Padres homers so far tonight, both with the 'his 18th homer of the year" calls from "the worldwide leader in sports".

Hope we hear less about how incredible a 3B Arenado is after that horrible defense on Marsh's ground ball. He got every fundamental wrong.

Just watched the game again. I cannot understand the decisions the Cardinals manager made around their bullpen usage. They have a bunch of starters who are all basically as good as each other, why not go with one of them after taking Quintana out.
Then, leaving Halsley in after he walked both Harper and Castellanos and looked wild doing it baffles the mind. They didn't get anyone warming up until after he throws the first pitch in the dirt to Bohm. Speaking of, I bet he is feeling that bruise this morning. 100MPH of the shoulder has to sting, but I'd imagine the adrenaline took him through it in the moment.
