I did spend almost a decade being happy that Jamie Moyer was still pitching and slightly older than me.

I’m in what I suspect is a good sized group where the last active player older than me was Julio Franco. But Julio was youngerthan me when he was a Phillie (according to his baseball card).

Well after all that Tigers are on their way to making the entire Cleveland run moot (though don't hold me to that). At one point they would have been the 1 seed too tho.

If the Tigers-Guardians score holds, lower seeds will have an 9-5 all-time record in completed WC series under the current format (with two to be finished this today). One thing we have yet to see is a team winning a WC series in the current format after losing the opener.
