What happened to Malvin Matos last year? Looks like he was hurt after the first 3 games in Lakewood. Seeing his walk off HR today makes me think he is in the OF mix somewhere. He was decent at Williamsport (747 OPS in 2017 at age 20) Not quite top 50, but not completely off the radar.

Of course he would be 22 if back at Lakewood this year.

He'd have to be in CLW at his age to be a prospect...maybe he had a great spring and will force is way up the line.

He's got some good guys ahead of him in CLW all the way through the 5th OF.

Ah I see per MLBTR that the retention bonus is a feature of the CBA, not something a team offers by choice. And now they don't have to give it to him.
