Harper and the NBC guys all continuing to nip that notion in the bud. He wants ABs. He wants to see how his body (not just his hand) feels. Said he may indeed yet take a day off while he's down there.
I also wouldn't be surprised if he turned up of course. But the reality is, they don't need him. I know it's tempting fate to say that, but you can see how Thomson is actively starting to rest and stagger all the players now, and with the weak schedule the opportunity to let Castellanos and Schwarber split DH for just a little longer is also good for them (and the team). Let him be sharp and fully rested/recovered when he gets on that plane to Arizona.
Maybe Schwarbs is the one who needed a rehab stint.
