Who knows if Arbuckle would have been any better, given Amaro did actually preside over three great (if largely inherited) teams and so much of the direction came from above (both to the GM and in terms of the GM decisions that hollowed out the drafting).
I was at both the parade and the rally, we walked down Broad for a while and when the subways shut down we moved onto a sidestreet and walked all the way to the Vet, faster than the parade itself, to get inside.
