The stories came out last night and this morning that Charlie's Getting Peeved. which leads to the debate that seems to pop up every year about how much exhibition play means for the regular season, despite all the losing springs (6 of last 7) in seasons that ended with winning records only spoiled by one 80-81 one.

Just terrible news about Lidge. Given his struggles in Houston I'm not optimistic.
