Honestly I just hope he's not headed for the IL, because he might not come back (Patch might think that's good, but it wouldn't be). One reason Seranthony has been so good this year is because they babied him (including an IL stint some claim is only because he's a little sore). But Robertson is old and had the same injury/surgery and Thomson has treated him like they're still in the Bronx. But he's also had little choice.

Robertson was pretty good until he was extended a couple of times. As @zambonir said up thread, maybe the Phillies have broken him. I think Alvarado needs to close the next time there’s an opportunity.
