Fangraphs is much more of a synthetic measurement relying on K rate and walk rate and FIP. BR is more into the question of whether the runs actually scored rather than trying to figure out what share is luck and skill. Clearly the peripherals show Nola can still miss bats. He is just missing location much more often this year.
