Well, that is certainly an impressive bullpen game, and also, whatever their flaws, all of our veteran relievers seem to have the Ted Lasso "be a goldfish" thing for sure. Nice to see the new guys chipping in too.

Alvarado's hold and Hector's blown save certainly don't tell the story. I guess Rosso earned his hold though! Nice to see the new guys.

Braves cruised today, so that was an important W.

I wonder what overall MLB team w/l records are when using 9 pitchers in 9 innings. I know it went 10 but Kennedy came in in the 9th.

Why can you get credited for a "hold" before the 5th inning if you can't earn a "blown save"?

29 blown saves. 1 more than Seattle for the MLB lead. But shockingly.. The Dodgers and Giants both have 25. And 20 of the 30 teams are at 20 and above.

Phillies use nine pitchers over ten innings and only give up two hits. Shoddy fielding cost them two runs. I listened to the game on XM radio as I was driving. Marlin broadcasters emphasized that two runs scored on outs. Falter not covering first cost the Phillies an inning ending DP and led to the first run. Miller’s error followed by a walk led to the third run on a ground out.

A very needed win. The “easy” schedule really hurting them. Swept by Arizona a couple weeks ago and almost swept by the Marlins this weekend. Need two wins in Milwaukee.
