Sadly I expect there are 2 more turns, as I hope it is foolish for Nola to start the last game of the season because hopefully we have wrapped up the #1 seed.
I think it is clear that Allard is better, his last 4 starts have 3 good and 1 bad. He isnât great, but at no point has he looked this silly bad.
And yes, there is no way they should consider Walker for the post season roster.
I donât think there is any reason not to bring him back for Spring Training, maybe there is some organic reason for his complete failure this year, but I would expect him to compete for the end of the bullpen not starting (but if he earns better). It is sunk money, so judge him based on performance not contract.
