Of course. I was more referring back to LSP being so disappointed in both Wilson's AB and the fact that he was put in to PH in the first place. And also to Marsh not even attemping to get a hit against a LHP. I expect less of those guys. The point of comparison is probably more like 15% vs. 25% (though Turner is a tick better than that even against RHP).

Of course it is too small a sample to mean anything and I agree it's really more the crapshoot thing, but the NL Central has been the weakest division and WC round loser to the #6 both years. Of course if we are the top seed that means we'd be facing the Mets or Braves if it's not the Brewers.

Well, turning point I suppose from their point of view meaning that's when it went from things were looking good to things started to unravel. The Stevenson hit and catch were just continuing in the wrong direction after that turn(er).

It is funny that I am rooting for the Braves in this because I want the #1 seed. One could argue that I shouldn’t be assuming the division is a forgone conclusion (yes, I know, Mets)

When I left to go to a wedding this evening, the score was 4-1. It was a pleasant surprise to see the final score. Nice job by the pen (including Walker!), and an even better job by the offense to stay in the game despite getting behind early. Those are good signs!

I mean I think it would be pretty funny if the Mets knocked the Braves out of the playoffs. And I think I'd rather still duck the Braves in a potential NLDS, never mind how solid/hot the Mets seem to be (also beating the Mets in a DS would be even more fun).

Too many variables to worry about, just get what needs to be done done.

Looking at Walker's pitches, 92-93, 4 seamer, sweeper, slider, 2 seamer, almost no splitters.
A very expensive long reliever without that splitter working.

Allard was bad, couldn't throw a FB close to the K-zone (not that it's a great pitch at 90-91).
Without command, he has no chance, they're lucky they were only 4 down after 3.
