Yes, another run, but the stolen base and a single to right where Hoskins only fielder on that side, makes it hard on the pitcher.

Bullpen gives up 5 runs, which is too many for six innings, but fielding and luck has not been with the Phillies this game. That, and the Phillies' offense not cashing in on a couple chances to score more makes it very hard to win this game.

Looking at the box score, Phillies' relievers Suarez, Hale, and Phelps gave up 9 hits and 2 walks in the 4th-5th-6th innings. That just doesn't get it done. I guess we can hope someone in the bullpen will step up soon.

Phillies actually out hit the Fish tonight, 11-10. That includes the change of Bohm's error that started off the 3 run 4th inning. A routine play for a ML third baseman. Bohm charged the ball and fielded it, but bubbled it 3 times and ended up not making a throw. Ruled an error at the time but now officially listed as a hit.

Phillies must win 3 of the remaining 4 IMO. Really need to win all 4. Probably not going to happen.

Good to see McCutchen hitting well and Bohm continued his hot pace with two more hits in this game. JT had 3 hits and Harper a double in his last at bat. Phillies need a hot Harper over these next couple weeks.

Dunno why you actually expected this team to win 4 or 5 games on the road under these circumstances (especially against the Marlins, whether they are good or just a team we struggle with).

It really doesn't matter. You can still argue they'd be better off as the 7th seed than 5th seed. 8th seed not so much. The division would be nice of course but they won't be out of it after this weekend by any means.

They're a .500-caliber team that could tip towards 32-33 with all the breaks, or 27-28 with none of 'em. And if Wheeler is done for the season it's definitely none of the breaks.

I am kind of wondering why they even bothered to bring Rosso up if they were not going to use him. Someone could have rested today and been given an extra day of rest for tomorrow.
