I guess Rosso or Bedrosian could easily be dropped from the 40 if we need spots. Knapp should be back soon. I am guessing Williams too though they might be lateral roster moves for Marchan and Vierling.

I am actually leaning towards bringing Joyce back. With Miller starting most days the bench, in technical terms, "sucks" at pinch hitting. Joyce just hit a HR. We have been running a short 4-person bench with a 28-man roster. Getting 4 innings last night out of Moore instead of 2 was not going to change the result. Velasquez can give us 3 in future bullpen games. Bring back the extra bench bat.

We should have claimed Franco. Clearly the Galvis/Didi/Torreyes rotation is also not winning us any games (on offense or defense), especially with Freddy not 100%.

I could see giving Joyce a look. Two separate questions really - will they do the five-man bench and who will actually be on it? Joe likes his vets and Fuld is close to Joyce and any fresh face might be welcome at this point. He could also play 1B or LF against RHP (with Miller at 3B even).
