Kind of wild that we all seem to think this now. I don't recall anyone having a problem when he got sent back to AAA, and a lot of people still wanted them to trade for a CF too. I still have faith that this Hays against RH experiment won't last (and if it does he'll have earned it). I guess I understand why they think a veteran can handle a really tought RHP better than Rojas, but if neither of them hit, the double defensive downgrade isn't worth it.

yeah, but he was not exactly an instant hit. there was a time when he was nothing more than another JoJo Romero or Cole Irvin.

The Braves have produced a lot of arms but, like all arms, many flame-outs among them. I would expected to be seeing Ian Anderson and Sorotka for years to come. Obviously they have a much better history than the Phillies (and ironically we made their former int'l guy our domestic guy and he was a flop in that role)
