While it is certainly true that the Pirates and Nationals teams that the Phillies have swept in four game series are not good teams, it is also true that beating the weaker teams is what needs to be done.

Stott now hitting .204 meaning that we might have a lineup with no hitter under the Mendoza line. Two are close at .204, Stott and Schwarber. Sosa is at .190 and will probably be in the lineup some games. Hopefully, he will get is BA up over .200 soon. As a Phillie, Sosa is hitting over .200 but with only a few at bats.

Exactly correct. If we had dispatched the weak teams the last two seasons, we might have made the playoffs (and done more at the deadlines). Slaughtering the bad teams is a very positive change.
