Neris will continue to be an enigma I suspect. Simple fact is his splitter, when thrown correctly, is a ball. Every once in awhile he seems to lose the deception, no one swings at it and they destroy his fastball. Then whatever happens switches back and he is a very good pitcher.
You canāt count on him for a great season, but he can absolutely get on very high quality runs. Then it all implodes for 2 weeks.
Unfortunately he is alone out there, when it implodes I have no idea who we turn to? Morgan?
