A tough start to the ten game homestand.
Phillies' hitters gave Nola a two run lead twice, and he failed to hold it both times. At this stage of the season, I view Nola as the Phillies' sixth most reliable starter. Let's hope the starts in the next five games are better than tonight.
The bullpen also was not as sharp as they need to be if the Phillies are going to make a run into October. It would not surprise me if Marte is sent down again, but we will see. When is Alvarado due to return?
