Sure, but - while I don't believe it will last - it seems what he needed was regular playing time,and perhaps the comfort of playing his best position, and the Phillies couldn't give him either of those things. They believed less playing time would be good for him at his age, and that he was a viable LF, and they were wrong on both counts (possibly).
I really want no part of the Braves in a short playoff series this year. Beating them three years in a row will be hard enough, but Lopez and Sale (who we haven't faced since March) could steal a series for them even with our great pitches (as today is showing so far). The Phillies are the better and deeper team this year and that shows out better in a seven-game series (at least in theory).
