I was on Rob about his reliever usage a week or so ago after Esteves blew the save. Worried that he was going away from what had worked for us all year.

Glad to see he hasn't strayed. Mixing and matching situation and hot/cold reliever. I was too quick to worry.

Puts things in perspective; thanks for posting. I’ve been worrying about losing the season series to the Braves, which will be the case unless the Phillies sweep them in this 4-game weekend series. But this shows that the Phillies have played well against the other playoff contenders.

Was at the game. The Phillies really looked awful. Crowd was restless. Marsh’s Homer woke everyone up and the crowd was into the rest of the game, After Casty’s homer everyone was high fiving and hugging total strangers, including me! Felt like a playoff game. Crowd was on its feet yelling and clapping the whole ninth inning. Then hugging and all high fiving again with the final out. Really a fun ball game!

I do not have cable TV and I do not subscribe to any streaming services. This means that I am unable to watch most Phillies games. The only time I get to see them is when I go to CBP. I avoid looking at the scores on mlb.com because I want to see the pitch by pitch breakdown of each at bat. I can only really find that on this website. For that reason, I look forward to the game threads here. I no longer enjoy the game threads due to many of the comments in between the bot.
