Bohm works a 10 pitch AB but takes a fastball right there in the zone to end the 2 out threat.
Unbelievably good at bat that ends poorly. Have to swing there.
Bohm decent AB but missed a couple hittable fastballs in the middle of the plate. Seems we get something going well then the next batter fails woof
Definitely a strike. Disappointing to see Bohm hang in so long and then take that pitch. On to the 8th. Tied 2-2.
Hoffman gives up a single and a walk in the first 3 Astros to the plate. Luckily, a DP in the middle helped, but still needs an out.
And he gets it.
Bottom of the 8th coming up.
Nice to see Bohm make a couple plays that inning, was worried that he might be sulking over there after that AB of his
No problem Philâs got to take this game so many chances to score runs
Casty got to be more patient at the plate
A ton of hittable pitches this game that the Phillies are missing.
I wonder if its because how much offspeed stuff they have seen lately they are late catching up to the fastball?
Abreu truthfully does have a good fastball itâs straight but 97-98. JT couldnât catch up not as easy as it seems. Itâs the pitchers that have a 92-94 fastball that the Phillies arenât barreling up
Estevez genuinely scares me in this situation. He hasnât been awful but he seems to have a little âMitchâ in him
Broadcast shows a fan giving Altuve the finger for several seconds
Estevez 1-2-3, now we get Hader
Hader is no Darth Vader lol - I just couldn't resist
Scoreless top of the ninth. Time to walk it off.
Did the foul ball to right hit something before it got to Castellanos or did he just miss it? Play looked a little strange and the tv guys were speculating.
Yes they said it hit the foul pole cable
Radio guys thought Casty missed it but it did seem like the ball did something odd
Another failed pinch hitter as Sosa Ks swing at pitch almost above his head.
Hays was swinging for the home run on every pitch. Didn't matter if it was going to be a strike or was well out of the zone.
