3 doubles total in 3 games. What in the world is wrong with these guys? It’s crazy how dead they look.

Yes, I did expect us to win this series.

We are one of the best teams in MLB and the Braves roster is not even close to healthy.

We had Wheeler, Nola and Sanchez going and one of the best pens in the game.

There are no excuses for the shoddy defense, undisciplined offense and general "going through the motions" play this team has shown for the last 30+ games..

I hope they can get it together soon because it does not get any easier: KC, Houston and then ATL again. I'm very confident in this team, but even my patience is being tested with their performance.

Really well put. Of course we root for all Philadelphia sports teams, even if how bad they are playing. I just wish the Eagles would of been on tonight (I won’t be able to watch this Saturday) a team even with third team scrubs or players that will be giving their best, although most will be cut after the game is still better watchable TV

Yeah but we're not any of those things over the past 6 weeks. .500 on the road is the normal expectation, but not with this second-half team. Sanchez, despite his last start, hasn't been good during that time either. Suarez out. Bullpen's been trash. Harper's either hurt or just seriously slumping. I don't think they are sleepwalking or not trying. It's baseball. As we've heard repeatedly, nothing AZ and TX didn't go through last year, or the 2022 Phillies in September as well.

Or, alternately, all the people who said the Phillies were a product of the schedule were right. Me, I never figured they were better than a 92-95 win team (actually, pre-season I thought no more than 93) and they probably still are. I am certainly hoping they do better at home against Houston and Atlanta, who are definitely not Miami and Washington.

Yes, but they have to turn the corner at some point, or else they never turn the corner. While still not stellar, they had shown signs of lifting out of their funk in the road series with LA, having gone 7-6 over the past 13 games - including a 4-2 home stand against the Marlins and Nationals before heading to Atlanta (granted, not the stiffest competition, but as you have often said, 'maybe they go get right at home'...).

I wouldn't say I expected them to take the Braves series per se, just expected them no to look so soundly beaten, all things considered.

Even losing 2 of the 3 in Atlanta and not looking inspiring, the games were all close. A timely hit, and the Phillies might have won the series. No question, they are not playing like we want, but I keep hoping the turnaround is coming soon.
