Dare we hope for the next two games with Nola and Wheeler starting?
One at a time, need the win behind Nola tomorrow.
Quinn and McCutchen each got their second hit tonight in the bottom of the ninth to really set up a walk off win.
Hoskins came up with them on base having already reached base on a double, walk and HBP. Sadly, he didn't get it done in the ninth, but I have hopes that he is moving in the right direction.
Harper got behind in the count but got the solid single to right. My thought as the throw was coming to the catcher, looking like it was clearly going to be in time, was why didn't they hold Quinn at third. My first look, live action, was that Quinn was out. It was a great throw, right on target, and the sweep to tag appeared to be in time. But the call was safe. On replay, we could see the tag didn't touch Quinn until his hand was going over the plate. Review upheld the safe call. A great walk off win.
Tonight, in spite of Hector blowing the save, the bullpen did a pretty good job tonight.
