Sorry if I was a bit sarcastic above. Have had a stressful week. No reason to take it out on anybody here. I do get emotionally invested in my Phillies though and am one who lives and dies with every pitch. At the beginning of an at bat Cesar could be the worst player on the team, and by the end of it he’s the most underrated player in baseball. Shouldn’t have been so sensitive. I need calling out every once in a while.

Thought that the 10 years ago thread would help remind everyone that the downs of a season don't always spell out doom. One can go read the Braves fans saying they're doomed now til they win a game or two.

I do thoroughly enjoy the 10 years ago thread. As a 30 year old 2007 was the first “winning” I got to see as a Phillies fan - I can barely remember 93. 2008 was the happiest time in my sports fandom along with Louisville’s NCAA basketball championship in 2013 (I was there it still counts). Eagles Super Bowl was up there but I don’t have the same obsession with them that I do the Phillies.

The 10 year ago thread is my morning bathroom break reading everyday! Appreciate you putting that together. Hopefully 10 years from now we’re looking at this and remembering
