Every Phillies hitter (with the possible exception of Hoskins) seems to have mindset that he must win the game by himself. The two best at-bats of tonight’s game were had by Hoskins (who homered and hit the ball hard every time up) and Bour (who walked in his only at-bat). Everyone else seemed to be swinging from his heels. Is it so hard to take pitches that clearly aren’t strikes?
