On a positive note, the Phillies just won 7 in a row and take this series from the Marlins, 2 games to one.
Good pitching continues. Another real positive.
While the offense did not get it done today, I do like loading the bases with no out in the bottom of the ninth. Sadly, they did not score. Pinch hitting with Sosa is a real puzzle for me since he has not shown much with the bat for a long time. Of course, he did run a full count and saw a lot of pitches. Likely, no other hitter would have done better.
On to New York. Let's take two of three there.
