Alvarez gives up a ground ball single just out of the reach of Segura and then gets two outs. Then Kapler changes pitchers to bring in Pivetta and the game is lost. Why make that pitching change?

Phillies will have to turn things around to match the 80 wins of last season. Sure, they could get hot. The Mets are an example of what can happen but that seems unlikely for this Phillies team. I think they are better than they are playing. Getting 10 hits and 11 walks sets up many chances to score and while they did get some runs, they again left far too many on the bases that they didnât get in.
Glad they are off tomorrow. I need a break.
