Shame on me for doubting Seranthony. He nails the save.

Kudos to Harper and Castellanos for the big hits in the ninth. Schwarber getting the lead off walk was important as well. Very nice win tonight.

Today is Nick Castellanos' son's 10th birthday.

It sure is nice to play the Marlins and not get rolled every game like was happening for a couple of seasons.

I am telling you, I expect us to win when we are down 1 run in the 9th. For some reason this team just has some comeback magic, how many games have we won that we were down after 7? Some season it seems it never happens and sometimes it is the expected outcome.

Nick Castellanos said Phillies were “shocked” Sandy Alcantara came out. Obv glad he did

He’d thrown 101 pitches and is regularly pushed beyond that. Went complete in last start but on just 97 pitches

Gotta imagine if Marlins never acquire Robertson, Sandy’s staying in that game

26th come-from-behind win by the Phils this year. Seems high for their total number of wins.

this is one of those double edged sword stats... Great that we are coming from behind to win... bad that we have to come from behind to win

also true of one-run games really. Feels like a testament to character, is really a testament to not outscoring the other team enough.

Sometimes you can't see things on stat sheets that matter:

Castellanos got an off day yesterday. Everyone gets them sometimes, good when you are in a slump.
He actually lives in Miami so instead he was excused from BP so he could spend time at home.
It was also his son's 10th Birthday. He got to go to the party.

I don't know that is why they picked now to give him s day off. Maybe he asked. Maybe Thomson (who is taking criticism now) was smart enough to see the possibility of resetting a slumping hitter.

Either way, that ball was crushed.

It was also said that he worked with his brother in the batting cage
