I would probably still chalk it up to a bad day against a great team instead of deciding that he's in over his head. But it probably doesn't matter either way - they could both pitch in that game, and then comes the break.
Ruben now speculating that as little-used starters historically Ranger and Sanchez might be experiencing their first "dead arm" periods. And of course we're overly worried about it because they aren't proven starters yet (compared to first two) and because we want this team to play .650 baseball the rest of the year. Which they've already been doing with all the other issues (Rojas, Walker, injuries).
