While I certainly wanted a couple runs in the top of the ninth, not getting them put the pressure on the bullpen and Arano came on and got the save. It is great to see several pitchers in the pen who can and are getting the job done.
Offense seemed tame but I guess after last night, it would be hard not to. They come up with just enough to take the lead in the 7th and the bullpen throws two scoreless innings to give Arrieta the win. Arrieta with a solid 7 inning start, two runs. Should win most of the time and does today.
Phillies hold on to share of first place. Looks like the Braves are winning as well.
