I think we (well, some of you specifically 
) just need to chill about Moniak. Clearly he is no better or worse than any other options the Phillies have (on or off the major league roster). And maybe better, defensively. Once they brought up Hall and cut Mercado they were clearly all-in on continuing to play him at least 50% of the time. Yeah, he's pretty bad but the logic is not that different than keeping Stott. If he's here, it's better for him to play and not feel like he could be demoted at any time.
Of course it could all change in 3-4 weeks, but not before then.
Also I believe Mickey is vaccinated (though that wasn't always the case).
