Super win. Great pitching again. Suarez with a solid start and the bullpen again strings up scoreless innings. Pirates held to one run and only four hits. Okay, Alvarado did give up the home run and only run in the first bullpen inning. It is really encouraging to see Suarez post six scoreless innings. That should get a win most times. Really impressed with Knebel throwing two scoreless, hitless, walkless innings to earn the win tonight.
JT 2 for 2 with 2 walks and the home run lead the Phillies (not really stellar) offense. Pirate loose play in the tenth help the Phillies score the winning run. Picking off the runner at second in the bottom of the tenth sure made the remainder of the inning less stressful for me.
Go for the sweep tomorrow.
