I don't want to dwell on the same point, but had Herrera made the catch on the liner right at him, this game is over and the Phillies and Nola have a great win to start off the set in Boston. But since that didn't happen, I hope we can score and go on and still win this game.

In a vaccuum I thought the Herrera play was just one of those things. The ball seemed to carry funny and then he made the mental mistake of starting to make the throw in his head before he'd made the catch (like a football receiver who tries to run before he's made the catch). Had the runner not been going it might have been a routine out.

Not in a vacuum, it's yet another defensive demerit of course.
