Fun game to watch. Sell-out very loud crowd tonight. Fireworks show was great fun. It was all good for this Phillies phan. Only glitch was all the credit card readers in the park went out after the National Anthem. No cash accepted. Made for hellacious lines once they came back on.

This team can get to the playoffs and maybe even win a series or two. But they need Bryce to come back strong in late August and there is a likely need for another starting pitcher. But they can be in the chase. Thomson has done a great job pulling things together.

I'm more worried about the starting pitching getting healthy. Suarez and Eflin both injured now means we are basically running out tow replacement level pitchers every five days; three if Gibson can't turn it around a bit.
