I get to say ITYS, pointed out Phillips in ST, he was throwing 95, a couple miles faster than last season, his second year after TJ surgery.
To be honest, I don't think he's this good, although Cleveland's a pretty good hitting team.
The thing to watch is his change up, didin't throw it most of the game but threw a couple nice ones in the 9th - master that pitch and he's a legitimate ML starter. Has a good sinker and hammer curve, but needs the change against LH hitters.
But for a hometown kid to throw a 4 hit shutout at CBP in front of a sellout crowd, only way he's gonna top this is to win a PO game or two at home!
