Eflin is snakebit, he actually outpitched Fried in my eyes, but the pitches Fried got away with (FBs down the heart of the plate), Eflin got away with nothing. Inciarte hits a FB at the top of the K zone for a HR, Acuna hits a FB at the knees for a HR, Fried has a great AB fouling off two well placed FBs and a outside breaking ball before drawing a walk on a pitch just off the plate. We'll just skip the awful fielding in the 3rd inning, and the Suarez two strike pitch knee high on the inside corner for a grand slam.
Braves are hot right now, they're hitting close to perfect pitches, while the Phillies hitters chase bad pitches and miss hittable pitches.
Hopefully Middleton will understand after this series that he can't buy a winner, he's going to have to build one.
