A quality start and 3 scoreless innings from the bullpen gave them a good shot for a win. But the offense didn’t show up tonight.

Our pitching did the job tonight, the offense is lost. It reminds me of the WS in 2022 and the NLCS last season. They get themselves out as quickly as possible all night long.

Phillies playing .500 ball in July which, given the fast start, is really okay. But I really hope they pick up the pace in August through October.

.550 the rest of the regular season would be fine (preferably the higher end of that in August). And then .578 in the playoffs (though .600 would be easier).

As much as we remember the 2022 team for its slow start, they went 11-14 in September and 3-3 in October before winning 9 of 11 (and 11 of 14) in the post-season. But then 0-3.

Last year's team peaked in June and August but was over .500 five of the six months (plus one game in October).
