I wonder whether the percentage of innings league wide where a team doesn’t score with a runner at third and less than two outs is up this year, with all of the strikeouts. It seems this happens a lot to the Phillies; does it happen as much to other teams?

Kevin Frandsen gave Nicke Williams a lot of credit in the second for holding Stewart to a single on a ball that could easily have been a double. The next batter up hit a double and Stewart was forced to stop at third. He never scored. Good game for Williams.
