Well that's too bad (I couldn't watch). That's two straight tough starts for Gibson no? Don't see how you can fault Knebel for pitching out of what he did. Any of the other guys might have done the same or worse. Unfortunately seems like they ran out of arms and luck. Who would have pitched the 10th?

How the heck did that Helsley guy for the Cardinals get to be so good? His numbers are unworldly.
He got the job done, but he threw a lot of pitches. If I recall correctly, he threw 10 balls to four hitters.
