Great to pull the win out in a bottom of the ninth walk off to overcome the bullpen failure to hold previous lead. Another big hit for Franco. Neris had a three K 1-2-3 top of the ninth, a good recovery from the loss yesterday. With the 3 strikeouts from Morgan in the 8th, the bullpen ended the game on a very strong note.
As bad as I was feeling last night after that loss, the Phillies do lose the series but come within an out (yesterday) of winning that game and the series.
The up coming series with the Dodgers should be interesting. Phillies need to win at least 2 of the 4 games to hold on to this season.
