Nola is really making the "big contract" decision tough for the Phils. If you want to be a $25 million dollar a year pitcher you have to be more consistent than he has been.

I feel like a lot of Nola’s struggles this year are related to difficulty adapting to the new rules. In years past, he would slow the game down by frequently throwing over to first or taking a long time to rub down the baseball in between pitches. I’m not faulting the umps for calling him out on multiple requests for a new baseball. I’m not sure Nola is ever going to be comfortable pitching under the new rules.

Dodgers keep finding them. must be nice to have a 24 year old starring for them in the rotation. the kid looked pretty good to me. As Sonny would say, "the beat goes on". the Phils have to decide whether to keep pitching Covey of bring up Sanchez. ho hum.
