I too was at the game last night and, yes, it was a fun atmospher. Good energetic crowd but not too big that the concourses were too crowded or the lines were too long.
The Tigers sure have a number of once-great and once-good players--Cabrera, Baez, Schoop--and at least "one of those guys who never lived up to expectactions" (Marisnick). Watching Cabrera is downright sad at this point. He's the last MLB player left who played at the Vet, here in our now 20th season at CBP.
Ellis came back to earth with four really bad at-bats. Another couple of games like Sunday's this week and a lot of fans would be buying his jersey.
Great to see Turner with a big night. Hopefully, he will get going.
