Six relief pitchers, one starting pitcher, one outfielder on the IL and another on the restricted/suspended list. If McCutchen goes on IL it would be ten players who figured to be on the ML roster being unavailable. I don't think I have ever seen a team have so many players out.
And didn't we just have a game where we were held hitless into the middle innings and then only managed a handful or fewer for the game?
I had trouble believing the totality of the collapse late last season. I don't think that can happen again, but gosh, it is starting to concern me.
