I think our TV broadcasts are incredibly lazy. In this era they should have been able to grab that video and put it on within an inning or two. Don't get me started on the paint by numbers direction without a thought about mixing it up when the occasion demands it.
I work in sports TV, and part of my job otten involves putting together clips of such "last time it happened' things before each season for variouis teams or conferences, ready to go whenever needed.
For a Phils version of that you'd have the last 3 homer game, the last triple play, the last cycle, the last no hitter, etc, all clipped off for just an occasion as tonight. Triple play happens, cue up the last one, roll it in a little while later, easy peasy. You can't anticipate everything, but there are plenty of baseball feats that happen every so often and the game story always points out when the last version of that was. If they go 7 years between triple plays you only have to piece togerther the last one once and just make sure it's in the pile of clips again until they turn the next one.
