I feel nauseous every time I see Neris coming into a game. I simply can't stand looking at him anymore. I don't know how his teammates can stand being in the same room with him. again and again and again, he blows a save.

He was better than his line indicated. He clearly lost it after running the bases. Then someone else gave up the HR. VV is not great, but he seems the least of our problems now. I'm kind of wondering how many of our pitchers were using sticky stuff at this point. I might believe the answer "all of them".

I was at the game for the great weather and unfortunate baseball.
Velasquez was strong for 4 innings, got into trouble in the 5th, but it was Girardi's terrible decision to bring in Archie Bradley and his declining stuff against the red hot Schwarber. To make things worse, he chose Hale over Coonrod to go against Josh Bell. Hale is not even a major league pitcher at this point, and the outcomes of both match-ups were almost laughably predictable.
Bad defense, bad pitching and bad managerial decisions overcome in the same game. This team is going nowhere any time soon.

I did not realize the activated Moore for Maton today? Why wasn't he in for Velasquez in the 5th when we clearly needed a LHP at the top of the order. Or later if he had to start an inning instead of going to someone like Hale.

Girardi has not managed the pitching well the last few games. Some is not his fault, but some probably is.

Well when pitchers pitch badly, it is easy to be critical of the manager. I’m not sure we have a reliever who is reliable. I agree, Bradley joins a lengthily list of relievers who have failed, costliness millions. Hale is another.

Hard to believe we lost a game in which we scored 12 runs. The manager isn’t out there throwing pitches and I wonder if he is even making the call on the pitching changes. Wish there was a lock down closer on this team - Neris certainly is not it. He had 1st base open to work the corners and instead he grooves a fastball middle of the plate.
