He may be rich and arrogant but he's not stupid. I mean, they probably won't sell as long as the wild card is in striking distance. But he'd also be crazy to let the current front office buy at the deadline if he also plans to fire them in October. I don't know that they could move any big names/contracts or moderate their luxury tax position but if they are far enough out they'd be crazy not to move their pending FAs. They need a farm system as much as if not more than the Phillies.
