Rhys isn’t the kind of 1B who is going to bail out really bad throws. Pinch-hitting Gregorius yielded nothing, and cost the Phils on defense.

Thomson’s instincts to let the kids play are good; tonight he went away from that, and it’s cost us. Haven’t lost yet, but this one should be over.

I guess I don't really think of Munoz as one of the kids, even if he is quite a bit younger than Didi. But if it wasn't a DH Didi get the start anyway. Ironically that PH might have been as much for defensive reasons (i.e. Didi at SS and Stott at 2B > than Stott at SS and Munoz at 2B).
