Kind of the Phillies' way, no? Have big bats at SS and 2B and an adequate or defense-first 3B (Feliz and Polanco most recently).
Like it or not, it seems the Phillies intend to sign Manny Machado and play him at SS, and if so Crawford is either a 3B, a bench player (in which case 3B will be part of his portfolio) or gone. Yeah, Kingery is a wrinkle but so was Hernandez, if he wasn't so good, Kingery would be playing 2B. And if Crawford had hit better in April he wouldn't have gotten displaced. And if Franco didn't stink, this also wouldn't be happening. No perfect solutions.
