It's a fine line between a 2-4 road trip and a 3-3 road trip. Doubt it will be worse than that but either way they will get right at home. The Sosa/Dahl magic couldn't keep them going forever and losing JT while Bohm is also a non-factor doesn't help either. But reinforcements are on the way.

The rougher patch is in July. Almost all of it. But our playoff odds are still something like 99.4 per cent at the moment.

I really do think the UK trip killed our pitching. I know not all of the teams that did it struggled this badly on return, but a few of them did.

Yeah but Turnbull is probably not available and Ruiz can only go so far. They are not anywhere near being allowed to use a position player yet (and might just as easily come back as get there).

I remember when Cliff Lee pitched like that for 2 or 3 starts in 2009.

Nola allowed 6 earned runs total in his last 5 starts.

Has allowed 8 earned runs tonight.

Season ERA has jumped from 2.77 to 3.48.
